A national non-profit organization has opened its doors in Peoria. The Local Initiative Support Corporation, or LISC, operates in some of the largest cities in the country. It works with non-profits, governments and community groups to rejuvenate struggling neighborhoods. Peoria Public Radio’s Alex Rusciano reports some area residents are asking if LISC can bring lasting change to the area:
