Another ozone alert is in effect today. The Tri County Regional Planning Commission’s Clean Air Action program says the air in the Peoria region is expected to be unhealthy for sensitive groups.  Area residents should reduce pollutants in the air my cutting down on driving, refueling vehicles in the evening and not running lawnmowers. This is the second ozone alert issued this week and the third issued this year.
