EP city council approves raises Submitted by Denise Molina on Wed, 05/30/2012 - 6:04am Non-union East Peoria city employees will receive a salary bump. The city council unanimously approved the annual merit increases averaging two-point-nine percent for each department. The salary increases are for full-time clerical, secretary, and supervisory management employees. City Councilman Gary Densberger says Department heads are in charge of issuing the raises.    "We make an effort to mirror the pay increases that represented employees enjoy," says Densberger. Specified part-time employees will also receive a two-point- nine-percent wage increase. The raises are retroactive to May 1st.
