Taking Back Our Neighborhood event to be held tonight

East bluff residents are encouraged to attend a public safety meeting this evening. The Glen Oak Business Watch is hosting the “Taking Back Our Neighborhood” event from six until 7:30. The goal is for residents to give input on how to improve neighborhood safety in the East Bluff. The Business Watch group held a similar meeting in December. The group tonight will focus on child safety and neighborhood watch. Peoria County State’s Attorney Jerry Brady and Peoria City Council member Tim Riggenbach will be in attendance. Snacks, drinks and door prizes will also be provided. The meeting is at the Glen Oak Community Learning Center.
