The new Peoria Riverfront Museum opens in about six days. The new museum has been more than a decade in the making with conversations about the idea dating back even further. The new PRM has a giant screen theater and a planetarium. But it also has a lot of exhibit space compared to its predecessor. Peoria Public Radio’s Tanya Koonce went to the new museum and prepared this two part conversation. We start the conversation with director of collections Kristan McKensey about the exhibit line-up for the new Museum:
