The new $140 million Peoria Riverfront Museum opens Saturday. The 80,000 square foot facility is about three times larger than its predecessor Lakeview Museum. The new PRM has a giant screen theater and a planetarium in addition to a variety of stationary and technologically dynamic exhibit spaces. It's being paid for in-part with a quarter cent sales tax narrowly approved by Peoria voters in 2009. This is the second half of our preview conversation with the museum’s senior curator and communications manager. Peoria Public Radio’s Tanya Koonce visited the new digs and talks with Director of Collections Kristan McKensey and Communications Manager Toni Tripp about the new Museum:
