The new $140 million Peoria Riverfront Museum opens Saturday. The 80,000 square foot facility is about three times larger than its predecessor Lakeview Museum. The new PRM has a giant screen theater and a planetarium in addition to a variety of stationary and technologically dynamic exhibit spaces. It's being paid for in-part with a quarter cent sales tax narrowly approved by Peoria voters in 2009. This is the second half of our preview conversation with the museum’s senior curator and communications manager.
