The trial for 5th District Peoria City Councilman Dan Irving has been moved to May 7th. The trial was originally scheduled for early March. Irving appeared in court Tuesday for the class 4 felony charge he’s facing for allegedly patronizing a prostitute.  Irving’s new pre-trial hearing is scheduled for April 24th. If convicted, Irving can not hold elected public office according to state law.
