Abraham Lincoln’s birthday is this Sunday. The 16th President of the United States remains arguably one of the most popular in the history of the country, and largely a symbol of Illinois heritage and souvenir replica.  Bradley University sociology professor Jackie Hogan’s new book covers the subject. She’s talking about it at a Peoria Public Library event this weekend.  In honor of Lincoln's Birthday, Peoria Public Radio’s Alex Rusciano talks with Hogan for a preview of the event.
