The East Peoria City council approved a property tax levy at the same amount as last year. That levy is anticipated to collect nearly $90,000 less in property taxes compared to this year.  Property values are also expected to decrease by an average of about two-percent.  That means those owning a home worth $150,000 could see a $12 decrease in the city’s portion of annual property taxes.
